Research Notes
Baby Eons: A side-quest on aionic time. I might integrate this into a rewrite of Chapter 1.
Pitchdark Futures: A note on why the most imaginable futures are not necessarily the most likely ones, and future blindsight.
The Depth of Time: A note on the relationship between the notion of βdeep timeβ and the notion of a βdepth of fieldβ in optics.
Future Tables: A note on pseudo-determinacy in time conceptualized as βfuture tables.β
Eventfulness: Cleaning up the definitions of chronos, kairos, and aion to get at more complex notions.
The Clockless Clock is something of a sequel to my first book, Tempo (2011). If you're interested in this broad theme, you may want to check that out.
I will be building on some of the ideas from that book in this one. To receive new chapters or research notes as I write them, consider subscribing to this newsletter.
